Expert Rendering Services in Mold
Thoughtful preparation and modern systems chosen for the building rather than appearance alone
A render system performs best when every layer is suitable for the background. We inspect the wall condition, establish what preparation is necessary and account for existing coatings, changes in material and areas that may have moved. This gives the new finish a consistent, properly prepared base.
Silicone render is frequently chosen for its breathable, water-repellent properties and clean contemporary appearance. It comes in a wide range of colours, making it possible to create a complete exterior finish without adding a separate painted coat. We will advise whether it suits the construction and level of exposure.
K-Rend and Ecorend provide alternative through-coloured systems for new and existing properties. We look at the whole specification, including primer, base coat, mesh reinforcement and beads, and explain the options in straightforward terms before a system is agreed.
If an exterior is already rendered, we check whether the existing material is firmly bonded and compatible with the proposed work. Small defects may be repaired after the cause has been addressed, while widespread hollow or loose render generally requires a more comprehensive approach.
The installation is planned to protect windows, paths, roofs and neighbouring surfaces. Preparation and each application stage are completed in the required order, with suitable time allowed for curing. We also monitor weather conditions because temperature, wind and rain can influence both application and drying.
Neat lines and well-resolved junctions make a significant difference to the finished property. We pay close attention to corners, reveals, sills, plinths and adjoining materials, and we set out the proposed scope clearly in the quotation so there are no surprises.
