About the Job
We recently completed this silicone rendering job in Caerwys, North Wales, transforming the tired rear of a property into a fresh, flawless finish. With peeling areas and an uneven appearance, the old exterior was letting down a home with plenty of character. Our work has given it a new lease of life, creating a clean, consistent finish across the rear walls.
On a property like this, the details make all the difference. The tall gable, window openings and Juliet balcony create several focal points, so the finish needed to look right across the larger wall areas and around the finer details. The light-coloured silicone render brings everything together, complementing the brown window frames, dark roofline and timber decking.
The transformation makes a real difference to the feel of the garden-facing side of the house. What was once a tired, patchy exterior now provides a smart backdrop to the decking and outdoor space. The subtle texture gives the walls an even appearance while allowing the property’s existing features to stand out.
At Hayes Plastering, we take pride in rendering work that improves the whole appearance of a home. This recent Caerwys project is a great example of the difference a carefully finished exterior can make, turning worn-looking walls into a finish the owners can be proud of.
